Research Assistants required for Big Data Corridor

As part of the recently launched Big Data Corridor project, project partner Birmingham City University are offering three Research Assistant posts, in Security Engineering, Agile Software Engineering, and Open Data Engineering.

The Big Data Corridor is a three year European Structural and Infrastructure Fund (ESIF) project commencing October 2016, designed to support SME’s working with tech and data in the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP.

Led by Birmingham City Council, the Big Data Corridor project intends to provide 12 hours of assistance per SME taking part to help them in develop new products and services.

Each of the project partners provide support in different ways.  Birmingham City University’s contribution includes enabling a platform that collects different types of big data, analyses the data, and presents the outputs enabling new products and services.that can in turn.
